Example: On the Assignment Assessment page, 'Score has been locked or invalidated in the gradebook.' message appears, and you cannot enter a grade. (Scores cannot be entered even in quick grading.)
If a score is entered (overwritten) or locked in the grades, it cannot be entered on the Assignment Assessment page.
(Note) Items that can be entered directly within learning activities, such as assignments and quizzes, are automatically added to the grade items.
To enter your score within the assignment module, check the following two methods:
(1) Click the left side of the course room menu 'Grades/Attendance > Grades'.
(2) Under 'View > Grader report', click the pencil icon (single-criteria view) for the assignment.
(Note) The score for the assignment item is orange because the score was entered (overwritten) in the grades.
(3) Click 'Override – None' and click the [Save] button.
(Caution) When un-override, the score entered in the grades will disappear, so please save the score separately in advance and un-override it.
(1) Click the left side of the classroom menu 'Grades/Attendance Management > Grades'.
(2) Click the Edit button in the upper right corner of View > Grades.
(3) Click the lock icon on the task grade item 'Control' to unlock it.
