When enrolling group assignments, you can choose the group classification for each group assignments.

There are two types of group classifications that can be chosen in group assignments.

EX. The group classifications and groups in the Course A are as follows.

(Group Classification) - (Group)

1st Group Project - Group A, Group B, Group C

2nd Group Project - Group 1, Group 2

Group Assignment Managements > Group Classification

When enrolling a group assignment, this must be set as mandatory.

Students submit assignments as groups within the selected group classification.

EX. If you select 'Group Classification - 1st Group Project', you can submit group assignments by the groups (Group A, Group B, Group C) formed within the 1st Group Project.

Common module settings > Grouping

Instructors can view assignments by each groups organized within the selected group classification.

'Common module settings' > 'Grouping' can be selected only when ‘Group Mode’ is set.

(Note) In the 'Assignment', you can only check the assignments submitted by yourself or your group, not the assignments submitted by other students or groups, there is no difference between the ‘Seperate/Visible Groups’ setting in 'Group Mode' of assignments.
