The Marking Guide is an advanced grading method in which the instructor sets the grading criteria, and inputs the description and maximum score of each criterion.

1) Marking Guide Settings

(1) When enrolling for the assignment, select and save the grading method of the grade as the 'Marking Guide'.

(2) Click the left menu of the Assignment 'Assignment Administration > Advanced Grading'.

(3) Click the [Define new grading form fromr scratch] button.

(4) Enter a name and description for the marking guide.

(5) Enter the grading criteria and the maximum score.

• You can enter a description of the grading criteria for students and grades(instructors).
• Click the [+ Add Criterion] button to add grading criteria.

(6) Select "Rubric options", such as whether to make the rubric description visible to the students. >> FAQs: Assignment Evaluation - Marking Guide Options

• All marking guide options are selected as a default setting.

(7) Click the [Save rubric and make it ready] button.

• To temporarily save the grading guide, click the [Save as draft] button.

2) View all submissions

(1) Click the assignment enrolled on all weekly activities, and then click [View all submissions] button.
